“My son was fortunate to have learned a solid foundation from you, which gave him the wind in his sails he needed to thrive—both confidence to build on and a love of writing that has helped him down the road.”

One-on-one Tutoring
Scheduled weekly or as needed, one-on-one homework help tutoring sessions deepen each student’s engagement with every reading and writing assignment, while also equipping students with a lifelong set of methodical approaches to the writing process. Engaged in a long-term partnership with your family, we begin by understanding student and parent goals, reviewing recent writing samples, and discussing teacher feedback.
Each session includes an overview of current and upcoming school assignments (classwork and homework) to ensure students feel supported and experience the full value of their schoolwork. In weeks without pending assignments to discuss, we practice close reading by annotating ahead in class texts, plan out long-term papers or projects, workshop prior drafts to sharpen editing skills, or work through supplementary writing and reading exercises in our custom enrichment curriculum. Our curriculum offers an engaging mix of assignments across genres such as personal narrative, persuasive writing, literary analysis, and creative writing. Students will not run out of opportunities to develop their reading and writing skills.
The predictability of recurring homework help tutoring sessions ensures students are continuously supported throughout the academic year.
